We have been keeping in touch with a lot of our family through this thing that Steve got me hooked up with.  It is called AIM (AOL Instant Messenger).  It is a free program where you can carry on private chats with other "buddies".  It is really neat because I can talk to Lisa in Texas, Penny in Chicago, Nikki in Missouri, and Steve in Nebraska, all at the same time.  You can send pictures and even talk over your microphone like using a phone.  Anyway, it is pretty cool, and if you decide to get on it, our screen name is "Clownsniffer1" (don't ask) or "Fogartizer".  It is nice because when you get online, you can see who else is online and who you can talk to.  I highly recommend trying it out.  You will get hooked!

Keep in touch everyone!

Penny and Danielle came to visit us here this past weekend. We had a good time. On Friday night we went out bowling again (it was late and we couldn't think of anything better). Saturday the girls went out and I stayed in. Sounds like they went to a real strange club called Club Bleu in downtown Detroit. I think they all had a pretty good time.

We have pretty much finished the basement and only have a few more details to work out down there. Nothing else all that exciting happening besides that.

I started my new job at Dearborn Assembly, where the Mustang is made. I'm not sure yet how I like it.... all I know is that I'm exhausted.

OK, I know it has been a while since the last update. Sorry....we have had a lot going on. I'll try to recap what has happened in the last month or so.

3 weeks or so ago - Leah went to Chicago to meet up with Lisa, Nikki, and Penny. Sounds like they had a really good time. I was bored stiff being home by myself for 3 days. Leah was most excited by the "El". I can't believe Penny never went on that thing. I would be on there as soon as I moved up there. That is just like Lisa and that trolly that she never rode by her old house. How can they do that?

2 weeks ago - I got my wisdom teeth removed. This was a strange event for me. I went in on Wednesday, scared stiff from the horror stories that everyone at work was telling me...how they were going to stick this huge needle up the roof of my mouth. I got there and asked the nurse if they ever gave people "gas" instead of the I.V. that I was supposed to be getting. She said "of course.....You want some?" "YES!", I said. She put the mask on me and my arms went numb. I started laughing and joking around with them and they thought it was pretty funny. I didn't even feel the needle go into my arm. Next thing I remember is sitting down in some room with my mouth full of gauze tugging at my lips and tongue wondering what they were. They gave me so many good drugs that I took the rest of the week off from work and basically sat in bed and stared at the walls.....happy, and not feeling a thing. It was very relaxing. I think I got the dry socket though, because stuff was still hurting up to a couple of days ago.

We went to an IKEA near Toronto that weekend, just to check it out and bought ourselves a new computer desk. Got stuck in an enormous snow storm on the way back and had to take all of these back roads to switch from a highway that got closed to another which was open. It was a nightmare.

Last week - My first week back to work without painkillers. It was not fun. On the weekend, we decided (my dumb decision) to go to a hockey game up north in Saginaw. It was about a two hour drive to get there. As we were driving, the weather started getting pretty bad. After the game, we headed home. The roads were so bad that we had to go 35 most of the way along the interstate. Tons of cars were off into the ditches and we didn't want to join them. Took a break and stopped at The Cracker Barrel to get a bite to eat. Had some terrible food, but as I was getting out of the car to go inside, I found the best CD in the world. "No, na no, na no, No he di ent!" YES!!!
